In the Republic of Tatarstan, the best minds of the region are occupied with an important task - the revival of the horses of the Tatar breed, which were once popular and widespread on these lands.

“This breed belongs to the category of indigenous,” say the Tatar horse farmers. “They are distinguished from other horses by increased endurance, unpretentiousness, excellent ability to adapt to natural conditions.”

According to experts, the horses of the Tatar breed are resistant to blood-sucking insects and the most common diseases. "Today, there are very few animals of this breed, you can say such horses are a living story," experts emphasize the importance of the issue.

Note that for the first time the Tatar breed was noticed by the Chinese in Central Asia and they called them heavenly horses. So in the historical chronicles of China you can find Tatar horses under the name "heavenly horse." It was the legendary Genghis Khan who recognized and first understood their significant advantage over other horses. And it was on such a breed that he conquered the world.

In the 30s of the last century, during the period of collectivization, this subspecies was destroyed - almost all of its representatives were put up for meat.

Today, the work on the revival of the Tatar horse breed is carried out in close cooperation with the Tatar horse breeders and their Moscow colleagues. According to experts, the revival of this breed of horses is a promising and profitable project.
