For information, in India, pumpkin is used as a trap for monkeys that harm agriculture. To catch the tailed thieves, a pumpkin is tied to a tree, a small hole is drilled in it and the bait is placed inside. It can be a grain or a delicious fruit. The monkey launches a paw through the hole, finds the bait and seeks to pull it out without opening his fist.
