According to the governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov, his region is optimistic about the future and demonstrates the fast pace of recovery from mass diseases of local pigs by African swine plague.
Today, the leader of the region notes, the number of pork livestock is being actively restored, pig farms are replenished with healthy animals of different ages.

“In Pravdinsky pig production only today there are about six and a half thousand sows,” said Alikhanov. “Every year we intend to receive about 23 thousand tons of pork of the highest quality from the production shops of this complex.”
In the near future, another pig farm will be commissioned near Kaliningrad. It is planned to open a recycling plant to eliminate meat production waste.
