During the current year, the branch produced 81 kg. fields.

According to experts of the Federal State Budget Institution Rosselkhoztsentr, producers have already purchased 46.5 kg. trichograms and 800 thousand individuals of gabrobracon. The remaining insects are used to produce the young generation for the next field season.

It is noteworthy that useful insects were acquired not only by farmers from neighboring regions, but also from the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, as well as from Kabardino-Balkaria.

For information, in the 80s of the 20th century, capacities were organized on the territory of the Belgorod Region, which allowed producing about 300 kg entomophages and resettle trichograms of 1 million agricultural land.

The use of beneficial insects not only significantly reduced the population of pests, but also prevented the spread of plant diseases, since phytophages carry them.
