A few days ago a large consignment of Russian venison arrived in the German city of Hamburg.
We are talking about twenty-six tons of meat made by the forces of the processing plant "Payuta", which is located in the Ural region of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
It should be noted that the Ural complex received permission to export venison to the German market in the fall of 2017. However, almost two years of supply were not carried out. And just now, the first delivery of Yamal deer meat went to Hamburg.
According to Alexei Vereshchak, head of the Payuta meat processing complex, the next batch of venison will go to Hamburg in a few months, in the fall of 2019 - specifically so that German consumers can buy unique meat for their festive table by the time of the Christmas fairs.
It is not superfluous to add that not only in Hamburg, but also in the remaining northern regions of Germany, deer meat is extremely appreciated among consumers. The Germans are satisfied with the dietary properties of venison and gladly include it in their healthy diet.
It is noteworthy that today at the Payuta processing plant they are preparing to conclude a contract for the supply of venison with buyers from Finland.
