The leadership of the agricultural company "Gizovschina" from the Lyubarsky district of the Zhytomyr region announced its intention to master the cultivation of organic soybeans in 2019. It is planned that the grown products will be exported to countries of the European Union, the Svarog West Group corporation, which includes the enterprise, said in a statement.
The Gizovshchina company already has preliminary positive experience in growing organic crops. Last year, the company produced 3.76 thousand tons of organic products, which were successfully exported to EU countries.For information, another company from the Zhytomyr region prefers to grow soybeans, explaining its choice of high profitability of the crop. Zhiva Niva enterprise reports that each hectare on which soybean grows makes a profit of € 1 thousand. Based on this, this year the company plans to devote half of the sown area for soybean cultivation - 3.2 thousand hectares.
