The farmers of the Khmelnitsky region suffered damage from the fire element. Ignition occurred on a wheat field with a total area of 34 hectares.
Yesterday, July 15, at about 4:00 p.m., a wheat field burned in the territory of the village of Rudkovtsy, the Novoushitsky district of the Khmelnitsky region. This was announced by the head of media relations and public relations of the Main Directorate of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnitsky region, Alexander Gulko.
“According to preliminary information, on a field with an area of 34 hectares, the shareholder harvested on his plot of 2 hectares and set fire to the stubble. Fire blown onto the field. As a result of the fire, 3 hectares of wheat burned. It was possible to save the harvest only by going around the area covered by fire with a plow, ”said Alexander Gulko.
Earlier it was reported that on July 14 in the Zaporozhye region burned a private farm where pigs were raised. The fire covered the ceiling on an area of 500 m². Arriving at the scene, firefighters managed to save the pigs from certain death in the fire.
Rescuers managed to get the animals out of the building enveloped in fire. 5 animals were affected by the fire. It was possible to save 32 pigs and 20 piglets, as well as 20 older piglets.
In addition, in Ukraine, fields often burn due to careless handling of fire.
