Potato prices on Russian trading floors are getting lower every day. This situation arose because the proposal significantly overlaps the demand for potatoes in the country. A year ago, this product in the Russian market was 20% higher than today.

The situation does not save the lower prices for this root crop. Today, a kilogram package of high-quality potatoes can be bought for a maximum of 16 rubles (7% lower than a week ago), but even such an attractive price does not seduce the Russian consumer.

In supermarkets, more and more imported potatoes are appearing, which are positioned as early ones. She is taken from Egypt and sold on average at 20 rubles per kilo. But even such a product is not very popular with buyers.
