Agroholding KSG Agro for five months of 2019 UAH (with VAT) from the sale of livestock of pigs, as reported by company representatives.
During this period, about 41.5 thousand heads, or 0.9 million kg per month, were sold.
In Ukraine, there is a fairly large demand for high-quality pork of European standards, including deferred one, said Sergey Kasyanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KSG Agro.
He is convinced that reputable manufacturers investing in a set of security measures have a chance to increase production due to unsatisfied or deferred demand. As reported, over the next 3-5 years, KSG Agro intends to double the number of sows.
“We have implemented our project by 50% and today we have about 60 thousand livestock of one-time pigs and 4,5 thousand sows,” said Sergey Kasyanov. “Under the project, we should have 8.6 thousand goals.”
Earlier it was reported that the company intends to put into operation a new mother in the pig complex of the village of Niva Trudovaya in the Dnipropetrovsk region. UAH 11 million has already been invested in the new project. The mother liquor will increase piglet production by 20%.
To date, the KSG Agro pig farm in the village of Niva Trudovaya in the Dnipropetrovsk region monthly produces 9-10 thousand piglets.
