According to the authorized employees of the Russian Export Center, last year was a period of intensified strengthening of trade relations for the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China.
It is known that in 2018, Russia's export potential in the supply of agricultural products to the Chinese market strengthened by 42% and brought revenue in the form of two and a half billion US dollars.
This gives all reasons for Russian suppliers to consider a 3-5-year perspective, during which sales of agricultural products to Chinese buyers can be increased to three, or even four billion US dollars per year. These assumptions were shared by Daria Snitko, head of the Economic Forecasting Department of Gazprombank. According to Daria Snitko, the People's Republic of China is an extremely profitable and interesting buyer for exporters from all over the world, however, it is not so easy to gain its trust and interest.
This is due to the fact that Chinese buyers are fully aware that they are welcome partners in trade and economic relations and have the right to choose suppliers.Russia has managed to establish itself as a bona fide producer and an honest supplier, and today among the Chinese, soy, vegetable oils, chocolate, dairy products and fish products from the Russian Federation are in special demand.
