A new production complex has recently been commissioned in the territory of the Murmansk region. We are talking about a fish processing company called Russian Cod, which is located in the city of Murmansk.
The ceremonial launch of the new plant was held by the acting head of the regional administration of the region, Andrei Chibis.
The governor's interim noted that the enterprise was built in an incredibly short time, but this did not in any way affect its productivity. And now, in the vastness of the Murmansk region, the assortment of high-quality fish products at an affordable price will be significantly enriched.
It is noteworthy that the production capacity of the new plant allows the company’s employees to produce about fifty tons of products from the conveyor daily.
The raw materials are supplied to the plant by the leading fish producers of the region, supplying Russian Cod with chilled and frozen haddock, which only a few hours ago swam in the waters of the north-eastern Atlantic Ocean.
Frozen and chilled fillet, as well as minced meat and steaks are already being made from fish raw materials at the factory.
To ensure the construction of the facility, to establish its work and staff the staff (more than two hundred and ten jobs), it took a generous investment of at least seven hundred million rubles. Each year, the company will pay taxes to the regional budget in the amount of forty million rubles.
