On the territory of one of the villages of the Melitopol district of Zaporizhzhya region in the field of wheat, ignition occurred on the vine. As a result, the fire destroyed 15 hectares of culture, the press service of the State Emergency Service said in a statement.
At 23:16 on June 20, 2019, a fire was recorded on the lands of the village of Semenovka, Melitopol District, on a wheat field with a total area of 130 hectares of the farm.
The fire was extinguished at 23:57 by the forces of the public service for emergency situations. 11 people and 3 pieces of equipment arrived to fight against the elements. The fire managed to absorb 15 hectares of crops.
There are no human casualties and victims of the fire. Earlier it was reported that on the territory of the village of Shevchenkovo of the Vitovsky district of the Nikolaev region as a result of a fire 23 ha of winter barley were burned.
According to preliminary information, the fire occurred immediately in three farms. And in the Odessa region from death in the fire managed to save 80 hectares of rapeseed.
