President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin met in Moscow with the head of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, who arrived in the Russian capital on an official visit.
During the meeting, participants in high-level negotiations discussed, among other issues, the possibility of implementing numerous investment projects.
In particular, Vladimir Putin and his Chinese interlocutor discussed the establishment of a large agro-industrial holding in the territory of the Primorsky Territory. The negotiators concluded that the amount of money invested in the new cooperation should start from an amount of ten billion rubles.
At the end of the discussion, the parties agreed that the prospects for joint cooperation in the framework of the agricultural holding are very positive and mutually beneficial.
To date, the question of creating a large agribusiness corporation is under discussion. However, soon, when the main activities of the holding will be outlined, information on further solutions to this issue will be made public additionally.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin and his interlocutor, Xi Jinping, are preparing to participate in the upcoming International Economic Forum, which will be held from June 6 to 8, 2019 in St. Petersburg.
