Based on the information shared by representatives of the press center at the regional administration of the Leningrad Region, the results of the first competitive wave of the Leningrad Hectare project were summed up in the Northern capital.
And we can safely say that all participants and winners of the first round of the program presented unusually promising and interesting plans for the development of agricultural entrepreneurship.
However, the business plans of ten competitors were recognized as the best. It is known that two of them live in St. Petersburg, and the remaining eight are residents of different parts of the Leningrad region.
It is noteworthy that one of the winners of St. Petersburg today is a successful farmer with an extensive farm in the vast Vologda region. However, now, after winning the competition and winning the “Leningrad hectare”, the entrepreneur will transfer his farming business to the region of the Northern capital.
It will not be superfluous to note that now, having new hectares, some winners of the competitive program in the very near future will begin to grow such agricultural plants as raspberries, garlic, strawberries and other fruit and vegetable crops.
Individual winners will begin to develop the cattle breeding industry and will breed sheep, goats, cows and other animals, which will allow them to arrange the production of sheep’s cheese, meat, milk and other farm food.
We add that the winners will now conduct their activities on hectares of the Slantsy, Boksitogorsky, Lodeinopolsky and Podporozhsky districts.
