In the French agricultural expanses, to date, the country's farmers, by joint efforts, managed to thresh over eighty-seven percent of wheat fields.
For a clear comparison, we add that a year earlier, the farmers of France by the same date completed twenty-four percent less work than now.
These data were shared with the general public by employees of the analytical department of the FranceAgriMer agency. It was also noted that at the moment over ninety-two percent of the total crops of spring barley were harvested.
But just a week ago, the figure was sixty-seven percent. So the French farmers can only be congratulated on increasing the pace of the harvesting campaign.
It is also important to add that to date, the state of corn has declined insignificantly - both fodder and grain. So, since the end of July this year, the situation on corn fields is assessed as “good” only at sixty-one percent of the total sowing area.
