This year, Sencha LLC, located in the village of Sencha in the Lokhvitsky district of the Poltava region, plans to build another barn for keeping 500 cattle. In the next two to three years, the farm will process up to 10 tons of milk per day, working in three shifts.
Now its own dairy farm processes about 5 tons of milk per day. Sour milk products are produced in it: sour cream, kefir, yogurt, curd mass, fermented baked milk, hard cheese, ice cream. In total, up to 30 types of products.
The dairy is built in accordance with the principles of the HACCP food safety system. Product quality is controlled by two own laboratories.
The Sencha company processes 3 thousand hectares of land. The main activities of the economy are plant growing (growing winter wheat, sunflower, corn, soybeans, buckwheat, millet and other crops) and animal husbandry.
The company contains 5 thousand heads of poultry (laying hens, turkeys, geese). It has an elevator, a feed mill, a dairy workshop, and a bakery. Produces products under its own brand "FarmerOk."
For information, as of June 1, 2019, the number of cattle in Ukraine amounted to 3.74 million heads. This is 4% less than it was by the same number in 2018.
