It should be emphasized that we are talking primarily about potatoes of excellent quality - both tasteful and external. As a result, a delicious and beautiful potato today costs 10% more than a week ago.

“The end of last week was marked for buyers with potato prices in the range of 7 to 9 rubles per kilogram,” analysts say. - Today a kilogram bag with potatoes is cheaper than for 9 rubles no longer available. But as many excellent products as you like at a price of 15 rubles per kilogram. ”

Tubers in quality are much worse sold at a more affordable price - about 7 rubles per kilogram. And, based on forecasts, in the near future the rise in price will affect such a product.

“The demand for potatoes is growing, the Russian consumer is panicking, seeing a small amount of potatoes on the shelves, and is ready to buy the maximum amount of this root crop at a high price, so as not to“ miss the moment ”. Farmers take advantage of this and keep large quantities of quality potatoes in their storages, expecting that soon it will be possible to sell much more expensive "- when demand reaches its peak," market analysts are sure. According to them, the cost of potatoes will only grow in the next couple of weeks.
