The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation shared information on how the process of harvesting feed for farm animals in the Moscow region is going.
So, it became known that at the moment in the metropolitan area about one hundred and twenty thousand tons of roughage for livestock is ready for consumption.
It is important to note that in the total share of mowed grasses, about twenty thousand tons is hay, and a little more than ninety-eight thousand tons is hay. Such data was shared with the public by representatives of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food, headed by Andrei Razin.
The Minister himself emphasized that today, in the vastness of the region entrusted to him, the campaign for the procurement of livestock feed is going on normally and in many respects coincides with the level of 2018.
To date, agrarians near Moscow have managed to fulfill the plan for the procurement of food for farm animals by ten percent.
According to Andrei Razin, today one of the priorities of the participants in the forage procurement process is replenishment of stocks and harvesting such a volume of hay and haylage that will provide each cow in the region with twenty-five centners of nutrition.
